The light parachuter represents the idolatry on the island which started off by creation called the snake thing in the forest at night. The assassinated parachutist later on ends up world called the fauna which starts to turn these boys into savages. But the dead parachutist starts to change things and the way boys later on act. The dead parachutist symbolizes a stripe of things for example fear, savagery, and start to take the evil come out of the closet of the boys. The dead parachutist also represents the spillway of society and the fall of mankind.
